Sant Sadurní d'Anoia, 1948. Mr Josep Rosell and Mr Joan Formosa embark on a new venture to create cava from the wine they are producing in their vineyards.
1955. Acquisition of a site in the centre of Sant Sadurní d'Anoia and digging of the main Rosell & Formosa cellars, with the storage cellar, offices and the disgorging (sediment removal) line.
1984. Acquisition of a new property, the "cava nova", or "new cellar". Here we incorporate the new technologies in the elaboration of cava, and we prepare the shipments to all the national and international markets where our brand is present.
